GPC is free software and comes without any warranty. You have not paid to get a license to use GNU Pascal so you cannot expect to get phone support etc. except you pay an individual or a company to provide such a service.
To find such an individual or company, look into the GNU Service Directory which is a list of people who offer support and other consulting services. It is in the file `SERVICE' in the GNU GCC distribution and in the GNU Emacs distribution, `/pub/gnu/GNUinfo/SERVICE' on a GNU FTP host, and @url{http://www.gnu.ai.mit.edu/prep/service.html} in the World Wide Web. Contact the Free Software Foundation (FSF) to get a copy or to be listed in it (see section GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE for the address).
In addition, you can try to find support in the Internet. The first address
is the GNU Pascal mailing list, gpc@hut.fi
. To join the list, send
an e-mail to gpc-request@hut.fi
.
You can also ask the Usenet newsgroups for help. There is no specialized newsgroup for GNU Pascal, so use that one which is most appropriate for your problem. When in doubt, we recommend @url{news://comp.lang.pascal.misc}.
Never forget: Everybody who is working on GNU Pascal and answering your questions is doing that in his free time without getting any salery for this. Please honor our work by contributing yours. When somebody has solved your problems in a newsgroup watch out for other people's problems you can help to solve.
